UTICA, N.Y. — Mohawk Valley Gives is a 24-hour day of giving happening Sept. 20 to benefit local nonprofits in Oneida and Herkimer counties, being put on by the Community Foundation of Oneida and Herkimer counties.

More than 150 nonprofits have signed up to participate, using social media and other means of engagement to inspire and energize donors.
